Doctoral Student, 2023-present
Enzo has recently embarked on his journey in pursuit of a doctorate in Energy and Environmental Systems at the KTH Royal Institute of Technology in Stockholm, Sweden. He is working on hybrid energy storage systems and energy management systems as part of the as part of the EU-funded Plug and Play Energy Management for Hybrid Energy Storage (PARMENIDES) project. He works under the supervision of Associate Professors Hatef Madani and Joachim Claesson of the Department of Energy Technology.
He is also currently a teaching assistant for the undergraduate course “Energy and Systems Innovation and Entrepreneurship”.

Vice President for Energy Solutions, 2023
Enzo returned to SolX Technologies in January 2023 to be part of the company’s continued efforts to scale up and provide more comprehensive energy solutions to its clientele.
Vice President for Energy Services and Head of Research and Development, 2018
Enzo became part of Exora Technologies (predecessor company) – a Philippine energy startup that facilitates the contracting process between retail electricity suppliers (RES) and contestable consumers – after his MIT Bootcamp and before starting his master’s program in Tokyo. During his 6-month involvement, he led a small team of software engineers and drafted a product development roadmap for energy services and analytics to complement the core electricity market solution of the company. He also advised the Board on energy management and related topics and technologies. Additionally, he represented the company in a number of startup events and trade shows.
Challenergy
Business Development Officer for Overseas Markets, 2020-2022
Enzo joined Challenergy – a Japanese wind energy startup manufacturing typhoon-proof wind turbines — right after finishing his master’s program. In his two-year stint, he led a complementary product development project that would facilitate data gathering for renewable energy project feasibility studies. He assisted the Chief Strategy Officer in liaising with Philippine partners and suppliers. He also performed market and policy research to support management decision-making. Additionally, he helped in developing some of the company’s marketing communication materials and met with potential customers from outside Japan. He also worked with the engineering team whenever necessary, given his background in electronic control systems.

Intern, 2013
Enzo was Solenergy Systems‘s first intern and credits the company for his first hands-on experience in power monitoring and control systems. Solenergy is now one of the leading solar power system solution providers in the Philippines.
Corporate
Schneider Electric
Product Application Engineer (Graduate Trainee), 2014-2016
As part of the prizes for winning the company’s Go Green in the City Competition in 2013, Enzo was offered a job at Schneider Electric and became one of the company’s pioneer Graduate Trainees in the Philippines. For 18 months, Enzo was rotated to three solution areas: power monitoring hardware, power quality solutions, and power management software. He supported partners and end-users by performing energy audits, designing system architectures, coming up with solution prescriptions and bills of materials (BoM), and providing theoretical and product training, in support of sales and marketing teams. Toward the end of his training, he became one of the company’s local subject matter experts (SME) on power management solutions, gave talks, and provided technical advisory support to key strategic accounts.
Operational Offer Manager, 2016-2018
Upon completion of the Graduate Trainee Program, Enzo was promoted to take on the role of Operational Offer Manager to manage a broader set of solutions. In addition to power management, he also took charge of the marketing strategy, product and pricing support, and sales supervision for the building management, lighting and room control, and network connectivity product offers. Apart from the steadfast support given to local sales and specification teams, partners (system integrators, panel builders, distributors), and key accounts, Enzo also spearheaded the type-approval process for power meters with the Philippine Energy Regulatory Commission (ERC) and launched the company’s Hotel Solutions in 2017. His contributions, together with the tireless efforts of sales, engineering, and partner teams, led to a double-digit increase in orders since he took on the role. He received a Business Excellence Award in 2016.
Aside from his business functions, Enzo was part of the local Employee Welfare Committee and constantly extended mentoring support to contestants of the annual Go Green in the City Competition from 2014 to 2018.
Freelance Consulting
From 2018 to 2020, Enzo had four consulting projects for energy efficiency and technology, energy, environmental, and real estate data analysis, and regulatory policy.
